The image of Near Earth Apollo-type Asteroid 2000 YA (discovered by LONEOS) was taken on 2000 December 16.800 UT with 0.57-m f/5.2 reflector + CCD camera SBIG ST-8 of the Klet' Observatory and is 60 seconds exposure. The asteroid is arrowed.
The orbit of 2000 YA indicates a minimum distance from the earth of 0.0049 AU on 2000 Dec. 22.28 UT (G.V.Williams, MPEC 2000-Y03).
At the Klet Observatory we made the confirmatory astrometric observations of this object as MPEC 2000-Y03 shows.
