Discovered 1997 October 19 by J. Tichá and M. Tichý at Kleť.
 Wolfgang Wenzel (b. 1929), astronomer at the Sonneberg Observatory, Thuringia, was among the first to apply photoelectric photometry to variable star observation. He contributed to the discovery and typology of variable stars and carried out early analyses of gamma-ray burster positions on photographic plates.
