|Ladislav Sehnal (b. 1931) is known for his work on the effects of solar radiation and atmospheric drag on the motions of artificial satellites and the theory of space accelerometric measurements. He served as director of the Astronomical Institute of the Czech Academy of Sciences during 1990-1996.|
